Gambaran professional quality of life guru bimbingan dan konseling

Abstract


Kualitas hidup profesional merupakan kualitas yang dirasakan seseorang berhubungan dengan pekerjaannya sebagai pemberi bantuan. Guru bimbingan dan konseling merupakan salah satu profesi yang memiliki peran untuk membantu konseli/ klien dalam menghadapi permasalahannya. Memiliki kualitas hidup profesional yang baik tentunya akan memiliki dampak yang baik tidak hanya untuk diri para pemberi bantuan dalam dunia pekerjaan maupun kehidupan pribadi mereka, tetapi juga akan berdampak pada konseli/ klien yang mereka bantu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survei untuk melihat gambaran kualitas hidup profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 93 orang guru bimbingan dan konseling di wilayah Jabodetabek dan 30 orang guru bimbingan dan konseling di wilayah non-Jabodetabek dengan total responden 123 orang guru bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa skor untuk aspek kepuasan welas asih (Compassion Satisfaction) sebesar 69.9% Sedang dan 30.1% Tinggi. Skor untuk aspek kelelahan (Burnout) sebesar 63.4% Rendah dan 36.6% Sedang. Skor untuk aspek stres traumatis sekunder (Secondary Traumatic Stress) sebesar 59.3% Rendah, 39.8% Sedang, dan 0.8% Tinggi. Secara keseluruhan dengan rata-rata skor kepuasan welas asih (Compassion Satisfaction) berada pada kategori sedang mendekati tinggi, skor kelelahan (Burnout) rendah, dan skor stres traumatis sekunder (Secondary Traumatic Stress) rendah, hal ini merupakan hasil yang positif. Namun untuk lebih meningkatkan kepuasan welas asih (Compassion Satisfaction) dan mengurangi maupun meminimalisir kelelahan (Burnout) dan stres traumatis sekunder (Secondary Traumatic Stress), peneliti merekomendasikan untuk peneliti selanjutnya mengembangkan buku manual pelatihan Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup profesional (Professional Quality of Life).
