Analisis cyberchondria mahasiswa di era digital ditinjau dari usia dan intensitas penggunaan media sosial

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat Cyberchondria pada Mahasiswa serta mengeksplorasi perbedaan berdasarkan usia dan lama penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Dengan melibatkan 350 orang sampel dengan metode pengambilan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Cyberchondria Severity Scale dengan nilai reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0,784. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan kondisi cyberchondria secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. dengan tingkat cyberchondria tertinggi ditemukan pada mahasiswa berusia 21–24 tahun dengan durasi penggunaan media sosial 4–6 jam per hari. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya upaya komprehensif bagi konselor di perguruan tinggi untuk menyusun strategi layanan konseling yang terintegrasi untuk mencegah dan mengurangi dampak Cyberchondria pada mahasiswa, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek usia dan kebiasaan digital.
